Your First Visit to Our Auburn Practice
On your first visit, you should plan for around an hour to an hour and a half in the office. If you fill out the initial paperwork ahead of time, you can save a good bit of time in the office.
You will be instructed to remove your shirt only and put on a gown so we can examine your spine. Once you have changed you will have your first computerized nerve system test on the equipment called the Insight Millenium Subluxation Station. The test does not hurt, sometimes the sensors are cold at first (room temp), but that is about all the discomfort you should feel.
Following this you will be given time to put your shirt back on and then you will discuss any health issues you are concerned about with Dr. Meadows. Orthopedic tests may be performed to assess your condition(s), and Dr Meadows will palpate your spine looking for areas of potential subluxation.
If Dr. Meadows feels you are a candidate for care, he may order x-ray pictures of your spine. After your x-ray pictures are taken, you will be scheduled for a time to return when Dr. Meadows will sit down and go over your test results and any findings from the x-rays.
