Your Second Visit to Our Auburn Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On your second visit you will be given your report of findings.

Your initial examination findings will be explained to you, and you will have an opportunity to view your x-rays and discuss your findings with the doctor.  You will be given a care plan and estimated costs at this visit. Only after all your questions are answered and you are ready to get started will we begin your care.

Typically the report of findings takes around 30 minutes. If you agree to begin care, you will be given your first adjustment on this visit. If your care plan involves other treatments, they will begin on this visit as well. You will schedule your first month's visits at the conclusion of this visit, and your first re-examination visit at the conclusion of the month.

This allows us to begin an initial course of care, but re-evaluate and make any changes in your care which may be required quickly. By scheduling your appointments in advance, you are essentially reserving your preferred times.

Some treatments such as spinal decompression are performed by appointment only, as equipment is limited and there can be no guarantee the equipment will be free for a walk-in.

Dr. Meadows Asks some important questions of interest to Auburn residents - Chiropractor Auburn Dr. Meadows Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
